Happy Birthday, my little sunshine

fpi_woman.jpg David is two today. No cake picture as of yet (it's still early and he actually only ate the silver pearls off the cake), but two pix of the man himself with selected presents. Isn't he adorable? Of course, I may be slightly biased.

Happy birthday, my little sunshine. Get well, grow, be happy, and never lose your incredible smile.

(No. It's not a gun. It's a toy drill. That's way cooler, anyway.)

Happy birthday David. I guess you're not a baby anymore, although you'll *always* be younger than me. Hope you have fun today. The drill looks like fun!

Love, Allison

Happy birthday, David! Do not try to make holes in your brother. (I understand it can be tempting.)

oh wow, how time flies! Happy Birthday, David! That's right, he's right between mine in age. Give him an extra hug for us.

He's so cute. Now all he needs is a toy circular saw, toy hammer (probably already has) and a set of wrenches, rachets and screwdrivers and he'll be all set for the kind of housework I prefer doing.

Now those are some good present ideas, Andrew...

No circular saw but a regular one, about one dozen toy hammers, at least three wrenches, assorted screwdrivers and bits and pieces I don't know the English terms for. Including a tool box and a tool case (you know, the ones with a handle you can carry around). Oh, and welder's goggles.

My boys are heavily into construction - equipment, gear, outfits, the works. It may be genetic. I got an electric screwdriver for my last birthday - long on my wishlist of urgent needs. It's their favorite toy, especially combined with the little case of drill bits.

One of David's first words was "backhoe".

Need I say more?

:-)
