Pie update 2

No pies here, still. BUT... I made a quiche today with a MS recipe crust which was basically, if I'm not wrong, a pie crust. Very flakey. The filling I made up as I went along. It does smell good. As soon as the kids are in bed, we shall see whether the taste can compete.

Hi Claudia!
If the Martha Stewart recipe called for chilled butter &/or ice water, then yeah, it's probably a pie crust. Quiche = egg pie.
As for more pies, geez, I'm putting in ten hours a week at the gym as it is. Maybe after b/r/i/d/e/s/m/a/i/d/ wedding season. I have a recipe for vinegar pie I found in a Carol Emshwiller western that I want to try.
