Fever (3)

fpi_girl.jpg Well, here we are - the kids still feverish and miserable, the mother in a state of perpetual exhaustion, the father 32,000 feet in the air and some 2.5 hours from Newark.

I wish him much fun on his visit, because he deserves it. However, I'm afraid this blog will be rather boring for some days, at least until the children are feeling better. David's fever spiked again, Alan's fever just returned and is getting higher as I'm typing this. The good news is, I'm still healthy. :-)

Oops, I hear David crying. Off I go.

ich hoffe, die E-Mail kommt richtig bei dir an.
Außerdem habe ich versucht zu übersetzten und bin fest davon überzeugt, dass ihn über Weihnachten in old-germany gewesen seid, und dass bei euch zu ziemlich das Fieber grassiert. Also wünsche ich euch gute Besserung, dass ihr im neuen Jahr gesund bleibt und weiterhin viel reisen könnt.

The good news is, I'm still healthy. :-)

That was tempting fate, and so I came down with fever, chills, cough, et al. in the night to Monday. Which, incidentally, was also the night from hell for the kids. The good news is, we survived and I didn't hurl any of the boys out of the window. The bad news is that Alan has developed an ear infection and David is hovering on one. Both have been put on codeine for two nights because their bronchitis was so bad. But, but, but... we're hanging in there and getting better. Or so we pretend.

Why am I writing all this? Because I just can't get around to posting anything these days. I'm just too busy and both kids are extremely clingy. But I did want to wish all and everybody a Happy New Year 2004! Happiness, health and peace for all of you!

PS: Do you think it would help to tell the german doctors that you just came from romaia where is flu quarantine? I heard about many people being sick,,,.. also about 2 girls, twins, 2,5 months old which has bronchite :(
I also hope they will get well soon.
