Perforin for WinWord is a 32-bit antivirus package that can scan for and disinfect hundreds of known Word macro viruses under Windows 95 and NT 4. It has detailed online help with many virus descriptions. You can download the latest signature database, or upload suspicious documents for analysis at the click of a button from within the program. Perforin offers numerous cleaning options, quarantine capability, and ExamineDocument command to safely look at the macro in a document without activating the virus. It has external signature database capability to add detection and cleaning for new variants found in the field easily. This release adds capability to adds capability to update external signatures at the click of a button, detection and cleaning for many new variants, and online registration. |

VGrep95 v1.1 is the Windows 95/NT GUI version of the well known VGrep for DOS/Windows written by Ian Whalley ( ian@virusbtn.com ) at Virus Bulletin http://www.virusbtn.com . VGrep95 is a virus name cross-reference utility. With VGrep95 you can browse the result of your searches, save it into a file, highlight particular words by different bitmaps, etc. Futhermore, the searches about virus names can be restricted to groups of products, extending the capabilities of VGrep for DOS. "On-line" context-sensitive help and installation program are also supplied. |
