HbFree

Summary: Harmonic balance circuit simulator
License: Freeware
Author: Gennady Serdyuk
Email: gserdyuk@mail.ru
Homepage: http://users.sovamua.com/foratech/gserdyuk/
Download: hbw-0_1.zip (Oct 11 2000, 455.9K)
Description:
HbFree is a package, containing free version of Harmonic Balance
Simulator Program "HaBala", Spice-2-Habala translator "s2h" and
utilities. It is intended for simulation of radio frequency (RF)
and microwave (MW) analog non-autonomous circuits under multi-tone
excitations. It allows the following components to be used: R, L, C,
transmission lines (lossless for now), V and I sources, Diodes and
MESFETs. It calculates steady state response of non-autonomous circuit
via iterative process, by solving nonlinear circuit equation in the
frequency domain.

Ptools

Summary: Electronic netlist postprocessing tool
License: Shareware
Author: Maria Pantoja, LittleBlue CAD
Email: LittleBlueCAD@iname.com
Download: ptool104.zip (Sep 5 1999, 1.1M)
Description:
Ptools release v1.04 contains the following utilities:

- NetCmp: A netlist comparator that generates easy to read reports.
- PartCmp: To get a report of the component changes between two
schematics.
- Bom: A netlist postprocessor that links a raw BOM (extracted from a
netlist) with your component database.
- X-Drc: Is a pseudo-expert system that checks your netlist for common
mistakes. Helps to avoid spins in your layout. It is an extended
DRC that will warn you of things like:
* Unterminated clocks
* Excess of load in nets
* Two pin devices connection errors
* Missing pull-ups/pull-downs where they may be required
* Statistics on decoupling capacitors
* ...and much more

It also generates a report that can be used as baseline for the layout
instructions (clocks, terminators detected listed per clock, etc.)

QR

Summary: Quickroute simulation, circuit & PCB design

Download: qr40_404.zip (Feb 10 1998, 2.2M)
Description:
Quickroute 4 is an integrated electronic design system for professional engineers, hobbyists and education. It combines schematic design and capture, mixed mode (analgue and digital) simulation, and PCB design with autorouting and CADCAM support. Quickroute 4 includes advanced features like multiple schematic sheets, net-list import/export, DXF, SPICE and WMF file support, engineering change (automatic updating of a PCB from a schematic) and Gerber import/viewing. This version of Quickroute 4 is full featured with support for designs of up to 40 pins.

by its colors or its value.

Signal Calculator

Version: 2
Summary: Signal Level Calculator
License: Freeware
Author: Andrew Harrison
Email: wez@mweb.co.za
Download: signal21.zip (Mar 8 2000, 192.4K)
Description:
Signal Calculator v2 can covert dBM and dBV to a RMS Voltage or a Peak
Voltage. The impedance can also be changed to suit. The program was
developed to aid me in the design of telecommunications hardware and has
been helpful in solving many problems quickly. The program has been
written in C++ and can run on win98 or NT.
