The Authorized Version of the Holy Bible (AV 1999) is a Concordance and Publishing Tool for the Holy Bible. It contains the complete text of the AV 1611 Bible (a.k.a. KJV Bible). It is designed to provide an online concordance which can write verses directly into Microsoft Word documents (Word-95 or Word-2000). It can also publish the complete bible text in HTML, ASCII, and WordPerfect Format. Its HTML publishing capability allows it to be used to publish the entire bible text (or individual books) as HTML. It's WordPerfect publishing capability makes it well-suited for missionaries (most word-processors can read WordPerfect documents). A missionary (or anyone else for that matter) can publish and distribute (royalty-free) any and all portions of the bible text as well-formatted documents. |

Books of the Bible for Windows v2.6.0 is a program to test your knowledge of the books of the Bible. There are several levels of tests and also of helps incase you get stuck. You can test your skills in order of all 66 books or pick the random mode and guess at them randomly. You can change the background color, font color and size, but the bmp background isn't functional yet. There is a smiley face for when you give an answer but only seems to work under WinNt/2000. Sound can be disabled and uses the standard Windows default sounds. There is also a bargraph to show your progress and you can also print your results if desired. You can also check which books were missed so you can try to learn those books a little better. |
