hii16310.zip (Nov 23 1997, 1.6M) |
| Description: |
HTMLIIGN produces HTML that contains an inventory of all your GIF/JPG images in a tabular format of the selected directory. You can customize the HTML by specifying how many pages to spread your directory contents across, the number of columns to use, image presentati on size, HTML background and foreground color and whether or not to include the image file sizes. Each HTML page contains several sections, the Header, Page Link and Body. The Header section contains information as to where the files are located, the number of images in the directory, the number of images on each page and the date inventoried. The Page Link section is only present for requests that have more than 1 page. It contains next/prior page links and for requests of more then 15 pages, page group links. A page group contains up to 15 page links. The Body contains the images, file name and the size, in bytes, of the file. The color for the text and background can be customized via the a color pallet option, allowing a full choice of colors to choose from. The colors selected are displayed in a preview window so that you can see the combination selected before generating the HTML. The image presentation size option sets the size that the images in the HTML are to be shown at ("Normal" or from 20x20 to 200x200 pixels). This allows you to see a large number of large images on one page, thus reducing time spent loading the full size files. If you decide not to resize them , they will appear in the HTML at their default size. The file selection list shows you all the files in the directory, which you can optionally rename, delete and view via the command shortcut or from the drop down "File" menu. hii16310.zip has replaced bsh11g20.zip and bshiig20.zip. |

qhtml111.zip (Dec 7 1997, 22.1K) |
| Description: |
Q-HTML is an advanced tool to convert text into HTML quickly and easily. It runs on both 16 and 32 bit MS Windows platforms and performs the following operations: Q-HTML converts all http:, gopher:, ftp: etc references into properly formatted working WWW links and news: references into followable newsgroup references. Q-HTML also converts all mail addresses into followable mailto e-mail references. Paragraph markers are inserted between paragraphs and line break markers are inserted where Q-HTML encounters apparantly pre-formatted text. There are 3 algorithms for this, and is more complex than just looking at the line length. This flexibility give Q-HTML an advantage over many other text to HTML converters, as many of them do not have the option to remove existing carriage returns in the text document. Any underlined text is converted into headers (level 2 or level 3 as appropriate). Special characters are also translated to ensure compliance to HTML standards. The program can also handle structured files like FAQs, splitting them into smaller files for the WWW and crossindexing them automatically. This allows one version for both text and HTML to be maintained and the HTML to be generated automatically. As well as working with "plain" text, the program also handles text with embedded <URL: ...> markers. Q-HTML also adds a title, header and body markers and date/time stamped footers to the text. This produces a WWW page which will work instantly and save you a lot of time and effort. |
