| Description: |
Trawler is a powerful and easy to use web browser and information gatherer. Use it as a browser to view any web page or to query any web database. When a database presents you with a page full of links in response to a query, you can tell Trawler to gather up those links and feed them to a helper program which follows the links and puts the referenced pages on your disk drive. This is the way that Netscape works when you tell it to download a file for you. And just like Netscape, once the helper program starts working, you are free to continue browsing and fetching more web pages. You can send a new query to the database or even start working with another database while the helper program is busy transfering web pages to your disk drive. You can have several helper programs running at the same time, following links from multiple databases simultaneously. |
