X-Identd v1.0 16Bit is a windows ident daemon. It is a method of authentication, alot of Internet releated sites require that you need to run a ident server (daemon) like irc. There are many other ident daemons for windows, but what makes this on unique is its features, which include: "Auto IP Response" which allows you to send a certain usernames to a certain ip's, "Bans List" which allows you to ban a certain ip to deny it from getting a ident response from you, "Randomized Usernames" which allows you to setup a random method of username selection so that everytime a site requests your ident each and every response will be unique, and many many more. |
