CatFish is a disk catalog browser. It allows you to save snapshots of all directories on your disks and to browse/search them at a later time. The catalog files maintained by CatFish are compact and fast, and can easily handle the huge directory trees often found on large disks, removable drives, and CD-ROMs. CatFish will calculate all total subdir sizes, and lists the date of the newest file found inside each directory. DiskBase is a disk cataloging program. Enables the storage of names of files and folders from a disk (floppy, CD-ROM, ZIP, etc.) to a database with powerful search capabilities. Names in archives like ZIP, RAR, ARJ can be extracted and stored too. A description can be attached to any folder or file in the database. The description can be made either manually, or constructed automatically from the file contents. Unlike other disk cataloging programs that show disk contents as one long flat list of files, DiskBase offers a common user interface with a tree and a list of files in the current folder displayed.
