AGIS for Windows v1.43a (16 bit) is a mapping and simple GIS Shareware package for Windows 3.x. A large number of map and data layers are possible, new symbols can be added by the user, a number of projections are supported including polar, distances can be measured on-screen, cursor position is displayed in map coordinates, named data points can be searched for and located, everything is configurable and high resolution (publication quality) images can be cut from AGIS and pasted into popular packages such as MS Word. A reasonably detailed map of the world is included, as well as a number of example map and data views. Simplified access to higher resolution Digital Chart of the World map data is also provided. |

Citimap is a Windows Geographical Information System (GIS) application (mapping software) specializing in urban features. Street and line objects are interconnected and drawn with designated width and depth, making it possible to trace the shortest path between two points. Region objects apply shared boundaries, which eliminates the chance of overlapping and repetitive drawing, while owner drawn Symbol objects can be added simply by drag-and-drop from a displayed collection.
