-RunPager SS will secretly and silently call your home or office and
alert your pager every time your lost or stolen computer starts Windows.
You can then identify the source of the call and hence it's location
using either caller-id, a service provided by your telephone company, or
pager message identification. After being alerted by the call you take
the caller's phone number or specific user information received by your
pager to the police and have them make the recovery for you. Caller-id
service is not expensive and not required unless and until your computer
is actually lost or stolen.

Model 1 - No Wiring Necessary.

This application uses your computer's video camera to monitor a room,
hallway, small office, dormitory, or enclosed area and report motion
violations of the secured area via pager and\or telephone call. It can
set on an audio alarm through your speaker system as well as capture
pictures of the motion causing the security breach. The program will
also permit surveilance only operations, the collection of motion
initiated pictures without setting an alarm trap.

There are threshold and sensitivity adjustments to allow for light
variations, total loss of light, and pet movements without causing an
unwanted trip alert.

Model 2 - Add Traditional Security Sensors.

In addition to the video camera sensor, Model 2 senses actions of
door\window dry contact magnetic switch closures, motion detectors, etc.
via simple serial port interface connection. A stand-alone PC based
security system, you just add readily available sensors.

A minimum of wiring runs are needed when you use a motion detector to
supervise large areas of coverage (e.g. 50x60 square feet). In
addition you may opt to employ magnetic contact switches, or x-10
devices. No special connections required, uses any dry contact switch
closure.

Twelve zones of protection (four zones per comm port) with an unlimited
number of switch devices on each zone. Simple two wire hookup of sensor
devices to optional cable interface connector.
