This Windows Screen Saver includes a mode for Hieroglyphics (pictorial symbols from the written language of Ancient Egypt) which are written randomly and scroll up the screen line by line. A description of the symbols is included in the built-in help file. Another mode allows user-selectable bitmap files (Windows .bmp format) to be randomly written and scrolled up the screen. Bitmap file selection is done conveniently via a Control Panel dialog box file browser. Cyclic Float mode allows a user-specified bitmap file from a list to float around the screen, bumping off the edges. Each time it bumps, it will change to the next bitmap in the list. This mode can be useful either for promotional purposes, or personal use. Single float mode floats a user-specified bitmap around the screen, bumping off the edges but not changing. In this mode, a "Tennis" box can be checked, which will enable a pair of bats (also user-specifiable bitmaps) that will attempt to hit the floating bitmap. |

VIP Screen Saver v1.00 allows you to manage a 'portfolio' of your own, personal photos and videos. Using the unique features found in this product, you can frame and matte the images (applying the styles as a group, or individually), and customize just about every aspect of their display. Not only can you photos be used as a screen saver, but they can be used as wallpaper with the built in wallpaper manager. The 'Portfolio Manager' program is the heart of the VIP Screen Saver. You will use the Portfolio Manager to add images to your screen saver, frame and matte them, select various customizable options, and more. Once you select an image (or group of images), you can click on the Frame and Matte menu option to select a frame style and matte style for your photos. Similarly, you can pick backgrounds to use for your videos. There are several ways in which you have control over all of your screen saver and wallpaper properties (user options). You can control the fade in effects, the order that the images are displayed, the duration between images, and much more. It's easy and lots of fun! |
