ScheduLAN

Summary: Office scheduler and sign-out board
License: Shareware
Author: Richard Kelly, Integra Computing
Email: integracmp@aol.com
Homepage: http://members.aol.com/integracmp/
Download: skdlan28.zip (Jan 5 1999, 661.8K)
Description:
ScheduLAN is a network-based product that includes one of the most
complete office schedulers available, an office sign-out board, a
message center, and a shared phone book. Its scheduler will prepare
calendars and other reports that display one person's upcoming events or
those for several people simultaneously. Data can be filtered when a
report is generated, so that only events for a particular project (or
even those events containing a particular word) will be displayed. The
program's sign-out board will tell you where anyone in the office has
gone, how to reach him, and when he expects to return. Its message
center stores messages for office-mates when they are out. This program
will optionally drag events forward from day to day until you tell the
program to tag them for deletion. It also finds free time, easily
establishes recurring events, and calculates date intervals. A snooze-
alarm, world time chart, and a wide variety of reports are among the
program's other features.

WinRobot

Summary: Program Launcher, scheduler w/C src
License: Shareware
Author: Bill Buckels, Teacher's Choice Productions
Email: bbuckels@escape.ca
Homepage: http://www.escape.ca/~bbuckels/cprog/
Download: winrob20.zip (Sep 12 1999, 92.1K)
Description:
WinRobot is a script driven program launcher for Windows. The program
was created to join a number of Windows and MS-DOS tasks in a linear
process and was later expanded to support additional commands. WinRobot
launches applications named in command line scripts, and executes each
launch consecutively. The WinRobot execution script is an ASCII text
file listing a sequence of programs and child processes that will be
launched by WinRobot. WinRobot waits until each executable process in
the script is finished before launching the next. WinRobot will allow
sequential execution of up to 128 Applications (the maximum number of
lines in a script).

Although the WinRobot script is not a replacement for the MS-DOS batch
file, WinRobot supports a number of internal command options that expand
the functionality of WinRobot scripts beyond the launching of
applications. WinRobot also allows time scheduled startup and
optionally logs activity and errors, and comes with an external
scheduler program called Wait.Exe. Since WinRobot was developed in
Windows 3.1, and not in Windows 95 and beyond, it will work in both
environments. Distributed with open source, and an online user's
manual.
