Conversion Buddy v3.9 converts from one unit of measurement to another. Scientific precision based on the computed error factor of the input value, the factor, and the result. The Tabular Conversion module converts columnar data of any length to a visual, printed, and disk report. Use: As you enter the Convert From unit, the window scrolls to it like Windows Help Find. Then double click a Convert To unit. That's it. 1700 conversion factors are included. SI Convert To units may be prefixed with any of the 20 SI prefixes. CB can "spell out" numerical results for insertion into text documents. Example: "Thirty six point one five feet is equivalent to eleven point zero one eight meters". Automatic installation. Context sensitive Windows style help system. Tutorial Included. Notice to international users: This product only supports standard U.S. numeric notation (a point (".") as the decimal marker and commas (",") as thousands separators). Fixed: - In v3.8, factors created with new units had a "phantom" factor (degrees,minutes) added in for the first two units created. - When rounding and user entered an input amount too small for Rounding Error analysis, reported result was "R.E. too low". The result now reports "R.E. too high" and a dialog box suggests "Input amount has too few digits to accurately round. Please click Exact OK or add significant digits." |

This is different from the 'usual' converters in that you can enter proper imperial units (eg. yards, feet and inches), or units as a decimal. Metric units are converted to proper imperial units and imperial units as a decimal. A fuel consumption calculator is included. Enter miles or kilometers per litre, imperial gallon or US gallon and read off the converted consumption figures. Extremely easy and user-friendly interface. No keyboard operations required, although you can enter values from the keyboard if you wish. The calculator keypad enters values into the currently selected input field. |

The prime number calculator is a tool for calculating prime numbers. The prime number calculator has a "Status Strip" where it tells you what's going on. When the prime number calculator is started, the Status Strip gives instructions. When you enter a number, it will say whether that number is prime or not, like "9 is not a prime number" or "13 is a prime number." The user can easily clear the Status Strip when it gets too long and the text falls off by clicking the "Clear Status" button. This version does not work with numbers below 3, including negative numbers, however I am trying to think of a solution to that problem. |
