KwikPay is based on a simple interactive pay slip screen that displays
immediately the effect of any change to an employee's pay data. There
is provision for supplementary, out of cycle and manual, adjustment
pays. KwikPays transaction scheduler enables payments or deductions to
be scheduled at frequencies different from employees pay frequency and
can even apply a payment or deduction to every employees pay with a
single transaction. It also has a flexible data import process which
can import pay data from time clocks, spreadsheets or any other software

The basic KwikPay system already includes direct credit interfaces to
the electronic funds transfer systems of all of the banks, building

KwikPay uses an Access database to store employee and pay data, so it is
easy to use employee data for mailing lists, or include pay data in
spreadsheets. All of KwikPay reports were developed using Crystal
Reports, the leading Windows report writer. KwikPay Software is happy

customize the reports themselves using Crystal Reports.

The Driving Instructor's Secretary (D.I.S.) is a GST (sales tax, VAT)
compliant program to help professionals in client based businesses.
This program will store in a database all client details, their
attendance history, and payment details including GST. The D.I.S will
calculate your income and GST between any two points in time (making
tax time a breeze!). Invoices can be created, printed out, and stored
in a database at the click of a button. Client's overdue and unpaid
bills will come to your attention by using our "Invoice status" button.

A scheduler is provided with quarter hour increments to plan your
day or plan the day of an employee. Online help makes for rapid
familiarization and within half an hour this program can be mastered.

The Driving Instructor's Secretary stores all student details, progress
reports, attendance history, lesson and payment details in a database.
The program actually consists of six separate pages (modules) and each
page has its own context-sensitive help page, with a *project* to teach
you to use that specific function of the program.

* The Client Details page is the main page for the use of the program.
Here you enter and change client information and select other
procedures for the selected client. When you enter the required
information (from address and telephone numbers to date of birth),
the client is given a unique ID number. There is also a memo pad to
enter specific information about the student. It is easy to move
from one client to the next by using the Next and Previous buttons,
or you can use the Find function, or the List button.

* The Attendance and Payment Records page is for entering these
details about the selected client. Each entry also has space for
comments.

* The Payments Totals Queries page will calculate total payments and
GST from clients between any two dates.

* The New Invoice page is for creating, printing and storing invoices.
All calculations are done at the click of a button clearly showing
the GST component (if applicable).

* The Invoice List page allows you to check for unpaid bills and to
examine past invoices.

* The Scheduler which is linked to your clients creates and prints
your daily schedule.

The online help is very clear and all the functions of the program can
be mastered within 30-45 minutes. The minimum requirements are very
conservative. You can buy a more powerful bookkeeping program, but it
will probably be overkill, much more expensive, and significantly
harder to learn. The Driving Instructor's Secretary is a small but
efficient software package, perfectly suited to the needs of the small
to medium-sized business.

Description:
KwikPay is based on a simple interactive pay slip screen that displays
immediately the affect of any change to an employees pay data. There is
provision for supplementary, out of cycle and manual, adjustment pays.
KwikPays transaction scheduler enables payments or deductions to be
scheduled at frequencies different from employees pay frequency and can
even apply a payment or deduction to every employees pay with a single
transaction. It also has a flexible data import process which can
import pay data from time clocks, spreadsheets or any other software
capable of creating an ASCII text file.

The basic KwikPay system already includes provision for direct credit,
cash and cheque pays. All of the Inland Revenue statutory reporting
requirements are met, from tax period schedules to end of year returns.
Accounting of pay data is no problem as KwikPay can allocate individual
payments and deductions to different departments, cost centers or jobs.
A set of standard payments and deductions are provided with the system,
which is easy to customize and extend with new payment and deduction
types.

The system includes leave accrual and payments. PAYE tax can be
averaged over a number of pay periods on an individual payment or whole
pay slip basis. KwikPay uses an Access database to store employee and
pay data, so it is easy to use employee data for mailing lists, or

its own printer utility that will print to any Windows printer. It

KwikPay is based on a simple interactive payslip screen that displays
immediately the affect of any change to an employees pay data. There is
provision for supplementary, out of cycle and manual, adjustment pays.
KwikPays transaction scheduler enables payments or deductions to be
scheduled at frequencies different from employees pay frequency and can
even apply a payment or deduction to every employees pay with a single
transaction. It also has a flexible data import process which can
import pay data from time clocks, spreadsheets or any other software
capable of creating an ASCII text file.

The basic KwikPay system already includes direct credit interfaces to
the electronic funds transfer systems of all of the New Zealand banks.
It also has full provision for cash and cheque pays. All of the IRD
statutory reporting requirements are met, from tax period schedules to
end of year returns. KwikPay has been approved by the IRD to produce
electronic data transfer files for monthly returns and it's printed
IR348 has also been approved.

Accounting of pay data is no problem as KwikPay can allocate individual
payments and deductions to different departments, cost centres or jobs.
A set of standard payments and deductions are provided with the system,
which is easy to customise and extend with new payment and deduction
types. The system includes leave accrual and payments. There is a full
selection of payments with the correct calculation of tax on any type of
payment. PAYE tax can be averaged over a number of pay periods on a
payslip basis. KwikPay uses an Access database to store employee and
pay data, so it is easy to use employee data for mailing lists, or
include pay data in spreadsheets. All of KwikPay reports were developed
using Crystal Reports, the leading Windows report writer. KwikPay
Software is happy to quote for the customisation of reports, or advise
users how to customise the reports themselves using Crystal Reports.
