Scancode

Version: 5.00

License: Freeware
Author: Bret Johnson
Email: bretjohn@juno.com
Homepage: http://members.aol.com/bretjohn/
Download: scncd500.zip (Aug 1 1998, 54.1K)
Description:
Scancode v5.00 is a DOS TSR that "types" for you automatically when you
are in the middle of another program. It can be used to automatically
respond to input prompts, create macros, "remap" the keyboard, allow
sticky-shifts, create menu systems, create screen-savers, or simply to
automatically type those annoying keystrokes some programs make you type
at the beginning or end of them. Scancode can type any key on the
keyboard, including things like <CapsLock>, <PrintScreen>, and
<Ctrl>-<Alt>-<Del>.

You control exactly when Scancode types. Timing options include waiting
for certain amounts of time (either absolute or relative), waiting for
certain strings of text to appear on (or disappear from) the screen,
waiting for the computer to be idle, or waiting for a signal from the
keyboard (or from another Scancode). You can also control how quickly
Scancode "types" the keystrokes.

There can be several Scancodes in memory at the same time, each waiting
for different things to occur or typing different things at the same
time. There are Looping capabilities so that the same Scancode can keep
doing the same thing over and over again, and different Scancodes are
able to "communicate" with each other. It is possible to have a small
series of inter-communicating Scancodes type thousands or even millions
of keystrokes for you automatically.
