PORTS v2.0 consists of two DOS programs PORTS and TEST, the WIN32 console mode program CONSOLE, and documenation for their use. The PORTS program reports all serial port UART addresses and UART types for the 8250, 16450, 16550, 16650, and 16750. The TEST and CONSOLE programs are used to test the functionality of a specfic RS232/422/485 port. |

rs232105.zip (Feb 3 1998, 48.1K) |
| Description: |
RS232 v1.05 is an RS-232 bus analyzer program. Use it to capture RS-232 communications between 2 devices so you can analyze and debug protocol problems. The program will use all existing conventional RAM for the read buffer, up to 500,000+ bytes. The RS232 program has been highly optimized in assembly language for the best possible performance. The RS232 program has the ability to search for specific ASCII or Hex data and can also write the read buffer to disk for viewing at a later date. The program monitors and displays both ASCII and hex simultaneously as the data comes across the line, in both directions, all in real time. The program also displays whether any parity or framing errors have occurred and monitors the status of all hardware handshaking lines if so desired. |
