| Description: |
Cheez Wave Simulator is a graphical dos-based program that copies the behavior of an elastic string. One end of the string is tethered to the side of the screen and the other follows the movement of the mouse. Sections of the string change color according to their velocities, and blocks between sections make it easy to see the movement of longitudinal waves. The user can modify the mass of the sections of the string (it is really just several straight sections) and the number of segments. The mass can be specified for the two halves of the string separately, to demonstrate what happens when a wave passes into a more or less dense medium. |

| Description: |
With Firestorm you can use four ground crews and two air tankers to fight wildland fires on a map of 180,000 acres, containing forests, meadows, roads, rivers, lakes, seashore, and buildings. One to five fires can be started at random or selected locations. The fires are affected by wind conditions and fuel type. Wind direction and speed can change randomly or can be changed manually. Wind speed can vary from one to 60 knots. Dispatch the crews to the fire via roads or overland and cut firelines. Dispatch the air tankers to the drop zones and dump retardant on the fire. Spot fires will form ahead of the fire in high wind and heavy fuel conditions. A status bar at the top of the map keeps track of acres on fire, acres burned, structures destroyed and simulation time.

| Description: |
In this model, preset to 200 individuals, I've attempted to give, in addition to a local awareness a global awareness to each particle. This is done by allowing the processor to randomly select a target particle from the array for comparison. This in addition to optimizating the particles distance to it's nearest neighbor creates within the system, an emergent motion vector, which is stongly influenced by the systems spatial configuration. These emergent vectors came as quite a surprise and have lead to some speculation regarding mob behavior.
