This is the fourth major upgrade and brings together many new and greatly improved features. For starters the program is now a fully protected mode DOS program. What this means is the old 640K DOS memory limit is history now. The program makes use of Extended, Expanded, and DPMI memory to eliminate that old memory barrier. The program has added several new features and output options. One of the greatest improvements has been to the 3D views. New with this version is a fully rendered earth view with full Sun/Shadow. (For those of you who watch NASA Select TV will see a similar 3D view in the Johnson Control Center on Shuttle missions.) For you beginners out there we have expanded the on-line help along with better and additional error checking. We have tested the software for the past 2 months with glowing reviews by all. |
