| Description: |
Berty is a basic neural network simulator using weighted cells. It displays cell activity in realtime with moveable 'viewports' and 'eeg' trace probes, with moveable stimulus regions. It is not intended for the advanced ANN specialist (no learning methods or complex maths!), but provides an arena for 'playing' with cells and studying cell patterns and growth when subjected to stimuli. Just set up a network, switch on and 'probe' around for activity.

NNelmos is an educational artificial Neural Network Simulator for MS-DOS with a graphical user interface. The Perceptron, Backpropagation and Self Organizing Maps models are included as well as an explanation of mathematical basics. Demonstration modules and data files can be used for presenting NN-algorithms and for accompaigning self-studies. As a current research topic, context-SOMs for processing natural language texts are included. NNelmos is a Freeware product developed by three students from Osnabrueck. You can distribute and use it as much and as long as you want without any charge. The source code is available on request. System requirements: MS-DOS 5.0 or higher, 386+ w/ coprocessor, SVGA, mouse. |
