glucoh10.zip (Jul 14 1997, 529.5K) |
| Description: |
Gluco*Health v1.00 is a database program for people that monitor their own blood glucose. Gluco*Health will help its user keep an organized computer logbook of his or her glucose tests. As you enter glucose tests into Gluco*Health, the tests are always kept in perfect chronological order by their date and time. All the records of blood glucose tests are kept in the Master Logbook. The records can be printed to either a printer or to an ASCII text file. The ASCII text file can be opened in a word processor and edited, formatted, or printed as you desire. A pie chart that represents the current logbook's blood glucose records can be displayed. Two Custom Logbooks can be created from the records that make up the Master Logbook. The Custom Logbooks allow the user to separate some of the records of the Master Logbook into smaller logbooks. This can help the user when he or she is reviewing blood glucose test results. The Glucose & Date Custom Logbook will find those records of the Master Logbook that fit into custom Glucose and Date ranges that are chosen by the user. Likewise, a Time & Date Custom Logbook can be created from user chosen Time and Date ranges. Both Custom Logbooks can print their records to the printer or to an ASCII text file. A pie chart can be displayed of each of the Custom Logbooks. |

| Description: |
This Tachistiscope visual reaction time program can be used to demonstrate or improve visual reaction time. A prompt (letters, number, words, nonsense words, or symbols) is presented on the computer screen for two seconds or less. Several stimuli are then presented and the user must respond yes or no if the first prompt is a member of the stimuli. The user can set several features of the program that include type of stimuli, length of prompt presentation, delay between prompt presentation and stimuli presentation, number of stimuli, and distraction. This program can develop visual processing skills and reaction time necessary in reading and similar visual tasks. It can also be used as part of cognitive rehabilitation, cognitive retraining or visual training. |
