Columns Printer v1.9 prints a text file in two, three, or four Columns. Also, it has a "Stripping" feature (option) which allows you to remove a part/s of each line, if those parts are not wanted. Columns Printer is useful for such things as a list of videos, songs, files, software, etc. Columns Printer uses "compressed" mode printing (132 characters per line total). Special features include a file viewer which has a scale and lines counter which you can use for "Stripping" or columns setting reference. Other options include double print each Line, print each page with a key press, back side printing (allows you to print on both sides of the paper), set the number of times to print a file, lines per column adjustment, and upper case converter. Columns Printer also allows you to "Strip" a file, actually creates a new file (original is un-altered). |

The pc Spooler v1.2 is a DOS printer spooler program designed to make life easier when printing. The program will store in its buffer the text, graphics, and other data that your program (such as a word processor) is sending to the printer. It will then hold these data in the buffer for you while waiting for the printer to accept them. Control of the computer is then returned to you almost innediately, so you don't have to wait for the printer to finish. This Shareware version of the program comes with a fixed data buffer of 24 KB. The registered version, available for a fee of $10, can be configured to hold anywhere from 1 to 64 KB. The program and its buffer can also be loaded into upper memory (on appropriately configured machines) to reduce restraints on conventional memory. This is a TSR (Terminate and Stay Resident) program. It will work with any kind of printer (ink jet, laser, dot matrix), any version of DOS, and any Intel compatible processor from the 80286 up. pc Spooler may be registered with the developer, Sorcerer Software. Included is a help file and product registration information. |

A collection of programs: PrnSet is a non-resident universal printer setter. You can fit any v 3.00 printer by editing a data file with an ASCII editor. New: output redirection from the command line and big numbers for head-positioning to allow multi-across labels . CountPgs gets information about the file: Number, length, & width of v 3.53 pages; presence of: Left Margin, FF's, ragged ends, tabs, high-bit (usually graphics) characters, bare CR's, misplaced ^Z's, over-size pages, et al. CRout (new program) removes CR-with-overprint from files which make v 1.10 underline and boldface that way. Can replace it with any print control symbols required (including PrnSert's). Mangler does several kinds of minor surgery: insert FF's, add/strip v 2.90 margin, add/strip terminal blanks, break file into parts, re- move/replace strings, UN-paginate, reverse order of pages, re- move headers, swap frontsy-backsy around CR's, cvt hi-bit graphix boxes to "|", "-" & vice-versa, cvt Unix & DOS line- ends, soften hard returns. New: end non-empty lines with blank. Pagina breaks an unpaged file into pages, with or w/o headers, foot- v 3.31 ers & margins. _Lots_ of choice about the headers & footers. Prn2Both divides a paged file for printing on both sides of the paper v 2.23 (print odd pages, turn over, & print even pages on the back). Can make proper margins and reverse headers and footers if necessary. PrnSert if you insert print control instructions in a text file, using v 2.00 PrnSet's command line style, PrnSert will read and print the text, interpreting the print control instructions according to your regular PrnSet data file. New: multi-across labels. |

PRTSCRFF v1.03 is a DOS TSR that modifies the PrintScreen routine in your computer so that each PrintScreen gets put on a new sheet of paper. A computer screen usually has 25 lines, but a sheet of paper has 66 lines. To see the results of your PrintScreen, you have to manually take the printer off-line, manually do a form feed, and then manually put the printer back on-line. This is a HUGE pain in the neck, especially with Laser or InkJet printers. PRTSCRFF eliminates all of this hassle. |
