Connect2SMTP

License: Shareware
Author: David Horwitz, Infinite Technologies
Email: david@InfiniteMail.com
Homepage: http://www.InfiniteMail.com/
Download: c2smtp.zip (May 27 1998, 1.1M)
Description:
Connect2SMTP is for LAN users who require Internet connectivity. It's an
SMTP gateway that lets you communicate world wide via the Internet.
Unlike many SMTP gateways, our product includes a high performance TCP/IP
router that offers e-mail exchange and Internet access for Telnet,
Gopher, FTP and World Wide Web. Connect2SMTP is an integrated solution
for connecting e-mail directly and seamlessly with SMTP-based electronic
mail on TCP/IP systems. You can exchange e-mail and files with others
who use SMTP-based mail. It allows you to send and receive both MIME and
UUencoded attachments. Connect2SMTP serves as a high-performance,
cost-effective router that uses standard PCs and modems, eliminating the
need for expensive routing hardware. Connect2SMTP also lets you extend
full Internet access to remote sites or dial-in nodes just by adding more
modems. Users on your network can then use many of today's popular
Internet tools such as Netscape World Wide Web, FTP, Telnet, Gopher, and
more, to tap into a huge base of information stored all over the world.
Connect2SMTP runs on a dedicated PC that is accessed as a gateway for
Connect2, MHS, and Global MHS. You can also configure Connect2SMTP for a
dial-up connection to a service provider to reach the Internet. It's
easy to administer, and provides error detection in the form of e-mail
messages to the administrator.

Author: David Horwitz, Infinite Technologies
Email: david@InfiniteMail.com
Homepage: http://www.InfiniteMail.com/
Download: c2uucp.zip (May 27 1998, 190.3K)
Description:
Connect2UUCP is for network users who want to exchange e-mail with others
via the Internet. It's an e-mail gateway that offers cost-effective,
dial-up access to the Internet. Unlike many Internet gateways,
Connect2UUCP can be installed on an existing messaging server and
requires no knowledge of Unix. By installing the Connect2UUCP gateway on
your messaging server, your e-mail users will be able to send mail and
transfer files. You can use the e-mail product you know, and let the
gateway take care of the rest. The Connect2UUCP gateway will call the
Internet service provider automatically when there is outgoing mail to
deliver, and it will check for incoming mail at regular intervals.
Connect2UUCP is a cost-efficient way to extend the reach of your e-mail
environment. You install Connect2UUCP on your existing messaging server,
or on the GWDEMON PC in a NetWare Global MHS environment, so no dedicated
hardware is required. Connect2UUCP will use the existing modem to make
its connection to the Internet service provider.

License: Freeware
Author: Frank Molzahn
Email: molzahn@cc.umanitoba.ca
Download: ipcfg011.zip (Feb 28 1999, 19.7K)
Description:
IPCONFIG v0.11 consists of two utilities, IPREAD v0.15 and IPRARP v0.19,
used to put a dynamically assigned IP address into the DOS environment,
for configuring TCP/IP applications. IPREAD finds a specified string
(default: "address") on the screen and reads the next four numbers on
screen to form an IP address. It writes a batch file which stores the
IP address in the MYIP environment variable. This method is most useful
for SLIP connections. IPRARP gets the IP address associated with a
Class 1 packet driver interface using the RARP protocol (if supported).
By default, it writes a batch file which sets MYIP. This method is most
useful for PPP links. The content of the batch file can be altered, and
some packet driver information can be reported.

Change: IPREAD handles video modes 0..3,7 better on CGA/MDA BIOS.

The user also has the option of using this data to create a Ws_FTP.ini file which can be used directly with WS FTP or imported into CuteFTP. It recognizes login and passwords as well, and can handle anons. In addition to all this, it is fast.
The other feature of this app is its ability to sort the data into a batch file, to be used with an included batch file and a command line FTP program. This feature allows the user to create the file, then simply run it to run through an entire list of FTP sites. It can save a lot of time, especially when the user has been searching sites for hours by hand for one app.

message.

MigrateWWW will create a new file in a destination directory for each
html / htm / shtml / shtm file found in a given source directory. The
new file will contain the modified template file, so visitors of your
Web site will be redirected directly to the same file at the new WWW
location. MigrateWWW comes with a template file (template.htm) which
can be freely edited. MigrateWWW will run under DOS, Windows95,
Windows98, and Windows NT.

For example, a signed email message removes any doubt about its originator and the integrity of the message-content. The content cannot be denied by the signer. Thus signed email can truly replace traditional paper documents in commerce and business.
