| Description: |
This archive contains C source code for ATP 1.50, a Freeware qwk style offline packet reader. ATP is used to read qwk mail/news packets which originate on dial-up BBS systemsr. ATP is a database style qwk reader with features such as tagline management and rot13 decoding. ATP was designed to be portable to many different operating systems. Under MSDOS this source code was tested with Turbo C/C++, Borland C/C++, Microsoft Quick C 2.01, and GNU GCC. Minor tweaking of sources may be needed when using other compilers. This source code also has been compiled under OS/2 and Linux Unix. In addition to English, ATP can be recompiled for German or French language users. Should your compiler not support ANSI C, the "ansi2knr" utility is included (in K&R source code form) for converting the code to the older style K&R C. Precompiled English language 16 bit and 32 bit executables are available in another archive, atp08dos.zip. |

Connect2 for Microsoft Mail is for LAN e-mail users who need to send messages between Microsoft mail products and other message systems. It's an e-mail gateway that provides directory synchronization and address book look-ups to users. Unlike other options, this product also allows for the installation of non-Microsoft gateways for connections to the Internet, MCI Mail, cc:Mail, and more. Connect2 for Microsoft Mail offers high performance and reliability, and a simple addressing scheme between Microsoft mail users and other e-mail users. It supports full MHS extended addressing and allows the gateway administrator to define MHS workgroup names to be assigned to each Microsoft mail network and post office combination, making addressing even simpler. Connect2 for Microsoft Mail includes the option to manage SMF/MHS user names via the Microsoft Mail administration program. A simple configuration program allows the mail administrator to customize addressing, routing, and directory synchronization. |

Connect2 for MCI Mail is for e-mail users who want to access MCI Mail, the most widely recognized public electronic mail system in the world. It is an e-mail gateway that lets users easily send and receive e-mail between a Connect2 based messaging system and MCI Mail. It joins your local area network with the world of MCI Mail, so you can communicate electronically with anybody, anywhere. Just one connection provides your e-mail users with a full range of integrated messaging services. You can rely on MCI Mail for basic message and attachment exchange to remote locations within your company and to other MCI Mail users. In addition, you can use MCI's alternative delivery services for X.400, letters, telex, courier, and fax to deliver your message to any postal or electronic address in the world. Connect2 for MCI Mail installs as a gateway on your Connect2 or NetWare MHS server, or on the GWDEMON PC in a NetWare Global MHS environment, and it shares the existing modem, so no additional hardware is required. |

| Description: |
Connect2 Remote is a messaging engine for traveling users and telecommuters. It reduces message exchange costs by supporting high speed modems, and offers automatic compression of attachments when communicating with a Connect2 network host. Connect2 Remote also lets users execute gateways to other systems, such as facsimile or MCI Mail. Connect2 Remote eliminates the need for multiple configuration files on a mobile PC, since it automatically detects whether a user is mobile or in the office connected to the network. Also, when communicating with the Connect2 Network version, Connect2 Remote allows users to preview waiting messages before downloading them. They may tag messages to download and messages to delete after reviewing the message subject, sender, and size. Connect2 Remote offers full compatibility with over 150 existing SMF-compatible applications, making it an excellent choice for new installations or as a replacement for Remote or Personal MHS. Advanced e-mail packages even allow you to run Connect2 from within the e-mail application. |

Connect2Exchange allows network users of Microsoft Windows 95 and NT to use their built-in messaging clients. It is for Microsoft Windows 95 and NT users on a network who need to communicate within and outside their network. Connect2Exchange supports enhanced messaging capabilities and allows for the connection of other e-mail gateways. With Connect2Exchange, you can take advantage of the group scheduling, rich text format e-mail, object linking and embedding, and more that you already have available on your Windows 95 or Windows NT desktop. Link your SMF-based e-mail system to Microsoft's e-mail products, such as Microsoft Mail, Windows for Workgroups mail, and Windows 95 Windows Messaging. Connect2Exchange installs on your workstations, so there is no administrative overhead at the server. Connect2Exchange reads your existing mail store and directly replaces or adds to your existing mail transport and address book to improve the overall functionality of your mail system. And, since Connect2Exchange is based on Extended Messaging Application Program Interface (MAPI), you can use your e-mail system right from any Extended MAPI-compatible application, such as Microsoft Word 7.0, cc:Mail Release 7, and Microsoft Office 97 applications. |

| Description: |
Connect2FAX is for LAN e-mail users who need to fax directly from their workstation. It's a network fax server that can be installed in any network environment. Unlike other fax servers, it installs on your existing messaging server. With Connect2FAX, you can simply send an e-mail message to the Connect2FAX gateway on your system. The text of your e-mail message is placed on the fax cover sheet. Additional pages are created by attaching PCX, DCX, or text files. E-mail packages that support templates can even prompt you for the recipient's name and fax number, and store them as e-mail addresses. Connect2FAX sends the fax and notifies you of successful and unsuccessful results. You'll know the status of each fax you send. If Connect2FAX reaches a busy signal, it will automatically re-try the number as many times as you like. Connect2FAX sets up on your Connect2, MHS, or Global MHS network. It runs on the Connect2 or MHS server, or on the gateway demon when running with Global MHS. No additional dedicated hardware is required. It has minimal impact on your network resources, and requires no regular maintenance. And, because Connect2FAX is a gateway, it's available to all clients of your e-mail system. |

Connect2Library allows LAN e-mail administrators to provide users with remote file retrieval via e-mail, and to create e-mail discussion lists so that departments, project teams, or technical support forums can share information electronically. Users can send messages to Connect2Library using their own e-mail package. Subscribers to a discussion list can send a message to the list and everyone else receives a copy. Then, anyone on the list may reply to the message, and the reply is distributed to all subscribers. Multiple discussion lists can be established for different groups within your organization. Remote file requests are also processed via e-mail requests. Connect2Library locates the file and sends it as an attachment with a reply message to the requester. Password protection is included. |

Connect2Pager is for LAN e-mail users who need to receive e-mail messages via an alphanumeric pager. It's a gateway that sends e-mail messages through any local or national paging service. Unlike other pager gateways, our product supports a variety of e-mail applications including Cc:Mail, Microsoft Mail, BeyondMail, DaVinci eMAIL, ExpressIT! and Notework. Connect2Pager lets you extend your e-mail system to include communication with alphanumeric pagers. You can send complete messages, in words and sentences, without requiring the recipient to stop, find a telephone, and call you for the message. E-mail messages are sent from the Connect2 or MHS mail server to a local or national paging service such as SkyTel, Metromedia, or PageMart. The paging service then sends the message to the alphanumeric pager. There is no need to invest in a separate terminal, and your people save time by sending messages directly from their workstations. |

Connect2Queue is an e-mail utility that allows remote users to send e-mail to a NetWare print queue. Unlike other options such as sending to a central fax machine or an e-mail inbox where it waits to be printed, the message is automatically printed by a NetWare print queue. Many documents that are received electronically must eventually be printed. Work orders, branch office reports, sales forecasts, and other documents fill e-mail in-baskets or arrive via the fax machine. Install Connect2Queue on your messaging server and your traveling users and remote sites can transmit print jobs to your network printer. Connect2Queue can also be configured as a "paper" mailbox for someone without a computer. It's fast, and certainly more efficient than receiving pages of thermal paper output from the fax machine.

With Connect2Voice, users can listen to their e-mail messages from any touch tone telephone. It is an e-mail voice attendant designed for LAN e-mail users who require remote access to e-mail messages. Connect2Voice provides remote access via the telephone without using a notebook computer and modem. The product can also handle all of your company's voice messaging needs. Connect2Voice extends the range of your e-mail system. You can listen, forward, and respond to messages using a standard touch-tone telephone. It provides all users of your LAN e-mail system with remote access without having to invest in a computer and modem for each person. Many users have occasional need for remote e-mail access. Even users who travel regularly might find it easier to check messages from the convenience of a touch tone telephone. Reading and responding to e-mail messages becomes simpler and available to more people. Connect2Voice offers security and high performance. It can be installed on any Connect2-based e-mail system. Use the touch tone keypad to enter your user I.D. and a password, and the system reports your new e-mail subjects and voice mail messages. You choose which messages to listen to completely. The system then performs text-to-speech conversion and reads you your messages. |

qelm110.zip (Mar 27 1997, 69.6K) |
| Description: |
QUICK-Elm v1.10 is a utility to send, receive and process Internet mail while being off-line most of the time. The program requires a modem and a dial-up shell account (no PPP!) on an Internet Unix host. The program logs into the UNIX host using a modem and only a Terminal emulation, sends outbound mail, receives inbound mail, afterwards hangs up the phone and converts the mail received to a readable format for QUICK-Elm and DOS. The appearance of QELM v1.10 is very like Unix elm and has many features of elm implemented, like (un)delete, forward, reply to, mail a message, multiple folder support, aliases, etc. |

| Description: |
SignIt v3.01 is a port of my SignIt signature program for DOS. I moved SignIt to Visual Basic For DOS to get a better user interface, and to be able to use more descriptive filenames. It is intended to be used for QWK mail in conjunction with your off-line mailreader. But, it can be used under Windows with your Internet EMail program, or your Web Browser. SignIt makes it easy for more Signature Files than these programs allow for, and makes changing your signature file a couple mouse clicks away. |

| Description: |
SMTPOP v1.1 is mail transport designed specifically to process messages produced by Pegasus Mail for DOS. Outbound mail has the extension .MSG and inbound mail is written with the extension .CNM. SMTPOP can process many accounts (users) per ISP, and can be individually configured to send, receive, or do both. It is best suited for situations where there are many users and mail has to be processed in batches via a modem connection to your ISP. Once connected, it can process all accounts independent of the server they reside on. |

| Description: |
Web-E-Form v1.0 gives greater power to those with e-mail-only access to the internet, by expediting submission of World Wide Web forms via e-mail. This program also may prove useful to those who have web access but occasionally want to fill out a form offline. Some knowledge of e-mail access to the Internet is required, but the documentation included with the program explains how to learn everything you need to know. This program was written to shorten the previously time-consuming project of submitting web forms by e-mail. It runs in MS-DOS, and is very simple but powerful. |
